Not an encouraging outing from Clay Buchholz, whose problem only shifted from "throwing batting practice" to "walking everyone" in that last outing of his. Not at all optimistic that the Red Sox have ironed his problems out in so short a period of time. Frankly, the fact that he's already in rehab starts strikes me as the organization rushing back into a problem they just managed to get out of.
Portland W 5-1
Deven Marrero: 0-4, BB, K
Blake Swihart: 2-4, HR, BB, K
Sean Coyle: 1-5, 2 K
Keury De La Cruz: 2-4, 2B
Henry Owens: 6.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
Noe Ramirez: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
It's been a while since we've seen Blake Swihart draw a walk. Longer than since he hit his last home run on June 2nd. But it's been far longer since we've seen Henry Owens allow a run--that's his first since May 19!
Salem L 3-6
Corey Littrell: 5.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K
Littrell could use a pattern-breaking second consecutive good start. He's been see-sawing between decent outings and disasters for a month now.

Forrestt Allday: 1-5, 3 K
Tzu-Wei Lin: 0-3, K
Wendell Rijo: 1-3, BB, K

Manuel Margot is starting to look like a ballplayer again. After not playing on June 5th or 6th, Margot has hit .360/.429/.440 with four stolen bases.

Nick Longhi: 0-4
DSL Red Sox L 5-6
