The Red Sox will hope that their second taste of interleague play in 2014 proves more palatable than their first as they welcome the Cincinnati Reds on a rare visit to Fenway Park.

The National League has been getting the better of the American League in interleague play so far this season--a fact the Red Sox are all to aware of. It was the arrival of the Brewers in Fenway for the home opener that dropped them back under .500, a setback from which they have yet to recover.
The Reds may not seem to be doing much better, but to their credit they've got a +17 run differential compared to Boston's -6. So that sub-.500 record might be a bit misleading. Hopefully the Red Sox will not serve to correct that, though with Felix Doubront on the mound to start the series, it could be rough sailing.
First pitch is at 7:10 with broadcasts on NESN, the MLB Network, and WEEI.
