I don't even know what to say. David Ortiz apparently is dealing with a calf issue. Maybe they're keeping Mike Napoli out because it's an afternoon game after a night game and he's fresh off a flu?
I guess if you're going to punt away a game, it may as well come against David Price. The lefty ace's ERA is awfully high, but he's striking out better than a batter an inning and has walked all of six batters on the season. Yeah.
The Red Sox have lost eight straight, and let's not kid ourselves, it's probably going to nine tonight with this lineup.
