Stephen Drew is back in the Red Sox fold, but he's not going to be in the dugout just yet. For at least one more night, the Red Sox take the field with Brock Holt at third and Xander Bogaerts at shortstop.

Oh what a difference one player can make. Just imagine that lineup with Stephen Drew batting seventh rather than Brock Holt. It's...actually, it's pretty bad, because Stephen Drew can't hit lefties. But against a right-handed pitcher! With Grady Sizemore in place of Gomes and--
OK, so Boston's still got some issues. But they're moving in the right direction!
What would really get this team looking interesting again, however, is a good start from Felix Doubront tonight. He's coming off the first game where he really seemed to put it all together, and has been trending in the right direction for a couple games before that. With Peavy's luck having run out and Clay Buchholz a complete mess, having Doubront at least showing some promise would be big.
First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. EST with broadcasts on NESN, WEEI, and the MLB Network
