Having been dominated Friday night by Yu Darvish, the Red Sox will attempt to regain their footing as they send Jon Lester to the mound against Martin Perez and the Rangers.

After yesterday's terrible pitching matchup, Lester vs. Perez is a sight for sore eyes. Perez is no pushover, but Lester is the best the Red Sox have, and is fresh off a ridiculous eight-inning, 15-strikeout. If anyone on the team can threaten to do what Darvish did, it's Lester.
As for the lineup, the presence of Jonny Gomes and David Ross are the only difference from Friday night, brought in to face the lefty Perez. Hopefully they'll prove that Friday's performance was more a matter of Darvish than of a slumping Boston offense.
First pitch is at 8:05 p.m. EST with broadcasts on NESN and WEEI.
