Oh what a sight for sore eyes. A defensively-capable outfield (even considering Gomes given the mitigating factor of his ability to play the wall)! A lineup with a solid top-four that doesn't die completely thereafter! David Ross behind the plate!
It could all go wrong. Felix Doubront finally had a strong outing last time around, but he's certainly not a sure thing just yet. And for all that CC Sabathia was not the same last year, and hasn't exactly kept runs off the board this year, it's still a bit early to be writing his obituary.
