10 years ago today -- today being Monday, October 27, 2014, in case you're reading this some other time -- the Red Sox defeated the Cardinals in Game 4 of the World Series. This completed their four-game sweep, was their eighth victory in a row since losing to the Yankees in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series, and brought the Sox their first World Series championship since the fall of 1918, 86 years prior. Take a few hours today, even if it's in the background of whatever you're doing, to relive the entirety of Game 4, courtesy MLB's Classics series on YouTube.
Game 4 wasn't necessarily the most thrilling match-up in Boston's incredible, historic World Series run of 2004, but it was the one that made winning a reality, that turned an impossible dream into something more.
Plus, if you watch the whole thing, you'll get to remember what Bronson Arroyo with cornrows looks like.
