Game 35: Red Sox vs. Twins

Loading Scores

There comes a time in every significant losing streak where it becomes difficult to imagine that the team in question is actually good. I think for many of us that came in the second inning, where our second starter of the night imploded about as dramatically as the first.

That's alright, though, because one week ago it was impossible to imagine that this team could play this badly, and lo-and-behold, they have. Our imagination, then, is not necessarily the most accurate predictor of future performance, and there is every chance that brighter times are just around the corner.

Any road to those brighter times, however, must begin with just one win. It's time to go out and get that win. Lackey vs. Correia isn't a great match up. The Twins' lineup is hot right now. But it's still time to win it.

Go Sox!
