Okay, so I think I've said I am willing to set this up and serve as commissioner. Need to appoint a co-commissioner in OTM3 to take over that league for 2014 (not that I was the most active commissioner this past season), and all of that... but... why wait until tomorrow to get this thread started?
So... parameters need to be set and the biggest one to decide is the number of teams. 16, like the OTM leagues, seems incredibly deep for this kind of dedication, so... what says consensus?
Next, invitation parameters... assuming (and I think it is a safe assumption) that we get more interested parties than we have space for the number of teams we decide on... who is the first cut? First come, first serve? Or do we give some value to the folks in OTM that are either veterans, or better yet... veterans of the OTM Fantasy Baseball leagues?
Finally, how many keepers to make it a dynasty and how deep is the roster? For instance, if we're going to start stashing guys like Jackie Bradley on our team in the draft, do we need bigger rosters to accommodate "minor league" players? Or do we operate with the same rosters as the OTM leagues today, and you are on your own if you want to stash the next generation?
Scoring, I would expect, we would like to keep the same as the OTM leagues already running?
