We restore films for a living and one of our customers unearthed an 8mm film shot at Fenway in 1940. We have digitally zoomed into the scoreboard to see that it was a game versus the Indians. The film was processed in July 1940, so the game would have had to have taken place before that. Please share this clip with any old timers that might know something about this. We are hopeful that someone knows of this game versus the Indians where somebody was given a trophy for something. Here is the clip:
