You've just been handed free reigns over the Red Sox organization. What are you going to do to build the team for next year, and the future?
There are only two rules:
1. Try to be realistic in any trades (think what it would take to get the player away from you if you already had them), and dollar figures for free agents.
2. Stick within the budget as estimated by Alex Speier ($32M in available payroll space).
(Bonus: If you're trading someone, be specific; instead of saying "trade Dempster for salary relief" or "trade Middlebrooks," try to come up with a team that makes sense for them, and who you think you could get back in the trade.)
