ALCS Game 1: Paging Boston's Bats...again....again...

I seem to be doing a lot of this lately, but never has it been quite so dire as this. Anibal Sanchez has about a thousand strikeouts and Boston has zero hits. Not only that, but they've allowed his pitch count to get under control, leaving Sanchez a given for the sixth, likely even the seventh if nothing changes.

And that feeds right into the good part of Detroit's bullpen. Talk about a missed opportunity.

And now, to boot, the Tigers have their run. It's 1-0, and the Red Sox need the bats to show up pronto.
