I think there have actually been some good things about this season. Well, so do you, you just might not be thinking about them right now. Check it out after the jump.

1. Will Middlebrooks: The 23 year old hit 15 homers and 14 doubles in only 75 games while shoring up the D at third.

2. David Ortiz: The man was having a great year when he got hurt, the second best of his career in fact.

3. Cody Ross is having one of the best years of his career and looks like a perfect fit for the Sox, all for 3 million dollars. That's obviously nothing.

4. The fact that Jon Lester doesn't suck anymore.

5. Oh, and someone took the entirety of Carl Crawford's contract.
