First, just to get a roster move out of the way, Pedro Beato seems to have been promoted from Pawtucket to reinforce a weary bullpen, with Che-Hsuan Lin headed back down to make space. Beato, you may remember, came over from the Mets in the Kelly Shoppach deal. He's had all of three strong innings down in Pawtucket, but has been beat up in his short exposure to the majors.
