Short-lived may it be!
I actually like quite a lot about this lineup. Mauro Gomez gets a much deserved repeat appearance in the lineup after his excellent performance in last night's game, and Ryan Lavarnway gets a day behind the plate. It's about all you can hope for from a lineup at this point in the season.
No, there's no Iglesias, and I know a lot of people want to see him get some swings in, but even as well as he's played in August I'm not entirely convinced that he's at the point where Major League pitching will really teach him so much as unnerve him.
The most interesting part of the game will be looking for improvement from a well-rested Felix Doubront. Here's hoping!
