I'm going to Boston to see family and stuff for the 4th of July. Lucky for me, I was able to get tickets to Sunday's game against the Yankees. Over at Lookout Landing, there is a whole section dedicated to visitors from other teams who visit Safeco.

So basically, I am looking for advice.

Transportation: I am thinking about taking the city bus down there, as I have heard Boston has great public transportation. I don't really know what advice could be given here, but just in case.

Food: I usually don't mind buying concession stand food, as although they are ridiculous in price, eating a hot dog while watching a baseball game is always fun. Are there any good places to eat in Fenway, or is it just generic hamburger/hot dog stands?

Boston: I also need some stuff to do in Boston. Favorite affordable restaurant? Fun stuff to do?
