With every win critical at this point, the Red Sox will go all-out against Scott Feldman Monday night.
With the Sox having gotten in some scheduled days off over their last two games, they'll have the full nine ready to go tonight--accepting, of course, David Ortiz, still out with his heel injury.
For the purposes of tonight, this means Ryan Sweeney in right field and Mike Aviles at shortstop, with Pedro Ciriaco and Daniel Nava riding the pine. Nava's exclusion helps keep the defense in top form, with Cody Ross able to fill in at DH and Sweeney taking over in right field. Aviles playing rather than Ciriaco is a bit more questionable given the righty on the mound, but his ability to take advantage of hanging sinkers and put a charge into one might be behind the reasoning against the unusually fly ball/homer-prone Feldman.
