This post is directly mostly at the OTM Varitek League although the rest of OTM may wish to read as well. And so after the jump, an apology, an explanation, and an announcement. :)

As some of you know, I have not been all that active recently in the OTM Varitek Leage, either as the commissioner or as a player.. FOr this I deeply and humbly apologize. Things have certainly gotten a little beyond my control out here. I know that there has been some rule breaking and the results of at least one matchup has been contaminated because of this. I have not been able to monitor the league as closely as I have planned on. Explanation to follow

As some of you know, I moved in April. In the span of three weeks, I moved into a new place, started a new job and started dating a new young lady. All in less than three weeks. It has been what some might call a bit of an overload. Add on to that that I've actually been writing like a maniac the past two weeks and, well, I just haven't done much of anything else. In addition, I still haven't been able to order internet at the house so we're looking at one, maybe two days a week I can actually GET online.... I'm not making excuses for my inactivity. I'm just 'splainin', coz I had a lot of 'splainin' to do for my disappearance.

Now, I have taken steps to resolve this issue... and here's the announcement. Until such time as I can fully return and take my duties as comissioner back, I have apponted The Laser Show as a co-commissioner for the Varitek League. I believe that this is the best thing for the league. I believe that he will be able to keep an eye on things while I am still.... less than active... and keep the sanctity of the game intact. I also believe that by having someone who is active as a cocomissioner, we will get activity back up int he league.

Once again, you all have my deepest apologies for my disappearance and my inactivity as the commissioner of the Varitek leage. When I turn my life upside down, I guess I don't do it by half measures!
