Here's another prediction game to keep people occupied:
Simply guess how many different starters the Red Sox will use this season. Also as a tie breaker and to make things more fun guess who they will be.
Last year, the Red Sox used 10 different starting pitchers. They were: Jon Lester, Josh Beckett, John Lackey, Tim Wakefield, Clay Buchholz, Andrew Miller, Erik Bedard, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Kyle Weiland, and Alfredo Aceves.
I have a feeling that we're in for another season of instability in the rotation. With no clear long term solution for the 4th and 5th spot, Daisuke presumably coming back some time this season, and plenty of risk for injury I would not be surprised if we use even more starters this year.
