So the Sox are about to play. And they'll be on the MLB Network. But they're not really the Sox.
See, everyone who's anyone who was planning on playing today already did so in the Triple-A game back in Fort Myers. Jon Lester was pretty good, as I understand, and some other stuff happened.
But as for this game? Oh it's just a mess. Shoppach, McDonald, and Morales are about the closest we get to real starting-quality players, and that's just because they're all good against lefties.
The rest? It's ugly.
So, yeah, there's that.
