Game -22: Yankees - Red Sox Lite

Stay connected for news and updates

Or very lite, as it were, what with the lack of any impact on things that matter.

Still, it's about the best you'll get out of spring training. Or, rather, it would be if our lineup had more than four starters in it.

More on that later, however. You may recognize this as the first emergency game thread of the season! So for now, make do.

Lineup

BOSTON RED SOX NEW YORK YANKEES
Mike Aviles - SS Brett Gardner - CF
Dustin Pedroia - 2B Russell Martin - C
Jacoby Ellsbury - DH Alex Rodriguez - 3B
Jarrod Saltalamacchia - C Mark Teixeira - 1B
Will Middlerooks - 3B Raul Ibanez - DH
Lars Anderson - 1B Andruw Jones - RF
Juan Carlos Linares - CF Bill Hall - 2B
Josh Kroeger - RF Jayson Nix - LF
Alex Hassan - LF Doug Bernier - SS
SP -- Felix Doubront SP -- Ivan Nova

There we go! My, the Yankees have certainly gone all-out today. Am I the only one who forgot they had Raul Ibanez?

Felix Doubront will hopefully be a lot better as he continues his campaign to take the fifth starting spot. Please, Felix? We could use some hope in that department.

Go Sox!
