Stay connected for news and updates

Yes, that's right, believe it or not between the college double-header and the B-game against the Twins, this will be Jon Lester's first official start this spring. And it will come against a team he has a history of dominating: the Baltimore Orioles.

For their part, the O's seem to be looking to give him their best shot, featuring a reasonably full spring training lineup.

Lineup

BOSTON RED SOX BALTIMORE ORIOLES
Nate Spears - 3B Robert Andino - 2B
Dustin Pedroia - 2B JJ Hardy - SS
Jacoby Ellsbury - CF Adam Jones - CF
David Ortiz - DH Matt Wieters - C
Ryan Sweeney - RF Mark Reynolds - 3B
Mike Aviles - SS Wilson Betemit - LF
Cody Ross - LF Chris Davis - 1B
Kelly Shoppach - C Jai Miller - LF
Lars Anderson - 1B Ryan Adams - DH
SP -- Jon Lester SP -- Dana Eveland

Boston's bunch aren't exactly slouchers themselves, either, featuring mostly starters. Jacoby Ellsbury bats third again, and Sweeney takes the more difficult defensive position over Ross this time, for those looking to read too much into spring training lineups.

The game is on NESN for your viewing pleasure. Those looking for a radio broadcast, however, seem to be out of luck.

Go Sox!
