If you could wish one wish this not-holiday season, would it be for Marc Normandin to take his rightful seat next to Matt Kory and re-join the Over The Monster Podcast?

If so, you're sick and badly need to get out more often. But regardless of your sick wishes Marc is back anyway and, sadly, Matt is still here, so the two talk about the recently decided Theo Epstein compensation. Who is this "Chris Carpenter?" Is he really eight feet tall? Does he really have chicken feathers adorning his arms and feet? Is it possible that he really smells like burning motor oil at midnight? Why does he spell his name with quotation marks? These are just some of the questions we don't answer during this segment.

Then we are joined by Wendy Thurm of Hanging Sliders, Fan Graphs, and Baseball Nation. Wendy tells the guys about her unusual and fulfilling career turn towards baseball writing. Then all involved discuss, in broad strokes, the Giants and their frustrating management. It's an action packed 41st Episode of the Over The Monster Podcast!
