I went ahead and tentatively knocked out a few folks
figuring that if Kazmir, Tek, Wake were signed that they’d most definitely come in under Bailey’s contract
This knocked out royredd87, gizmo, Thunder 64
Not that I want my name crossed off...
But Jake W had the same one (McCarthy) remaining and the same one right (Ortiz) and had his name crossed off.

Still alive!
Though if there’s been ANY talk about a trade for McCarthy, they’ve been awfully good about hiding it.
This got me thinking
I wonder, historically, how many teams have made a trade with a team and then in the same off-season went back and made a 2nd trade with the same team. I would imagine that its fairly uncommon
You would have to think so.
I mean, if you wanted two players from the same team, you would think that they’d work on sweetening the entire deal on the first time through.
I suppose it isn’t impossible… for instance, a deal with the White Sox when they thought they were contending back in November, and then after seeing Fielder go to the Tigers, they might become “sellers”?
I thought we’d never win it all. And then we went down 0-3 to the Yankees in 2004, and I thought it was the end of the world.
Wait ’til THIS year!

Did you really predict Tek’s retirement on 2/16, or has the date simply not been updated?
So, Opening Day is when we’ll finally declare a winner, pending some miracle late arrival?
