2012 Red Sox Community Projections: Dead On With Cody Ross

Joy R. Absalon-US PRESSWIRE

Over The Monster readers did an impressively good job of predicting Cody Ross' 2012 season.

Before the year started, the readers of Over The Monster tried their best to predict the performances of some of the more interesting 2012 Red Sox. Now it's time to see how they did.

Cody Ross has been considered one of 2012's few nice surprises, but perhaps that's not giving Red Sox fans enough credit for their ability to evaluate players. After all, plenty of you readers here at Over The Monster seem to have seen this coming, and we've got the proof.

That is a lot of yellow. In fact, it's so much yellow that it's surprising there's not more red. It's almost like there was an agreement not to choose 22 on homers.

Still, yellow is good, and while I'm sorely tempted to give Sologub the nod with two perfect hits on rate stats, both dsharp and Alfredo managed near misses on five of six categories, and that's kind of hard to top. They, therefore, are your almost completely arbitrary winners.
