29 Trades 29 Teams: Astros
Red Sox perspective: This might sound strange at first but I think Ben should pull the trigger. I like Perkins' intangibles but I think the players around him are making him better than he actually is. He's an ok defender but doesn't really bring any other unique skills to the team. In return we receive Green(walt). Green(walt) has struggled to live up to his potential after posting a 6.33 ERA last year. However, I think if we can get him in the right system in Boston he can flourish.
Astros perspective: Experts have said that the missing piece for the Astros farm system has been a guy that can man the middle (i.e. centerfield). Perkins can fill a need and eventually work his way up to AAA Oklahoma City in no time. Its possible that they've given up on Green(walt) and will try to trade him while he still has value.
So there you have it. Perkins for Greenwalt. Sounds good on paper to me.

Kyle Greenwalt has very little value. It would be a dumb move for Cherington.
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it. - Henry Ford
If he keeps posting 6.33 ERA's
Then Cherington will be able to get him without having to give up Perkins.
