Hey guys! I haven't been around a lot lately, but I'm still reading OTM all the time. I haven't been around because I have been covering Boston's newest champion. The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse won their first title on Sunday, but that's not the point of this post. Besides, why would most Red Sox fans care?

Apparently, many do. Because on Saturday, before the Red Sox take on the Texas Rangers the Cannons will be honored at Fenway Park. Yup, just like our Stanley Cup Champions Boston Bruins, the Cannons will see some love from the Boston faithful.

This is a great oppertunity to jump on the bandwagon of another winner. The Cannons have the biggest stars in lacrosse and 25% of their roster is from New England. They are reguarly on CSNNE and ESPN2 and all the games are at ESPN3.com.

Next season isn't until April, but this is a good chance to see another winner as the City of Champions grows.
