Tazawa hasn't pitched games w/out having at least...
3 days rest.
If you want to make him a bullpen piece for 2012, better get on it.
I'm assuming Ben meant for September
I don’t see why they’d make him a 2012 bullpen piece when he could be a perfectly viable rotation piece.
I don't think that will be a problem really.
Seems to me they’ve been piggy backing him as essentially a second starter in games, he hasn’t pitched less than 2 innings in a while. If we brought him down to an actual reliever load I can’t imagine it would be hard to cut down his rest days.
"We are not normal, We are Legends. People will tell their kids about us." - Deon Butler before Ohio State Game 2008.
The conversion for starters last year took all of about two weeks.

What's the Sept 1 roster/Post season rule?
It’s impacted somehow by 60-day DL guys, but I can’t keep it straight.
Let's just ask Michael Bowden how its done
Starter. Reliever. Starter. Reliever. Starter. Reliever….who knows.
I sometimes think we just treated just as long relievers/starters
and then we say such guys are “versatile” simply because that’s how they got used.
I sometimes think we just treated *GUYS as long relievers/starters
stupid me and my stupid words
Good write up...

Was a bad day for Doubront
It’s a shame no one wanted Oki, tired of seeing him on the minor lines doing so well and not wanting a call up.
"Remember, it's not over until the fat lady drops one."
eh, lets remember, so much of his ability comes from deception
I somehow doubt he’d be putting up numbers anything like that in the majors, where they’ve seen him before. Cafardo says they’re considering a September callup, but just considering it.
And on a different topic
Tito says that Wake will start next against Oakland, not the Rangers.
On an otherwise crappy day, this counts as good news to me.
Ells by tomorrow, Papi looks to be coming back too this week.
All this according to SB Nation…….everyone here may already know it, but it was news to me.
As for the main topic here, I wish we had Tazawa up every time I see Morales.
hold the excitement
the pitcher making the start in Wake’s place will be Miller. I guess that’s good news as far as the 200th win thing goes
Miller's pitching on Thursday?
{Note to self: Find something to do on Thursday that is not called “Watching Baseball.”}
