Clay Buchholz was declared dead
by Sox medical staff after being removed from the game. He was then moved to a much better medical staff, where he was upgraded to alive.
Oh, look! A delicious carrot!
Just dangling in front of me! Yummy yummy carrot!! If only I could get to it….I’ll just…yes…keep going towards the carrot. I’ve been promised a carrot!

The following comment is medically necessary
as well as being more than a bit persnickety:
Vertebra, please. “Vertebrae” is plural.
I sincerely hope that CB does not have multiple L2 vertebrae, and/or have fractures in an additional vertebra (other than L2).
You may proceed with previously scheduled programming…………
Don't know about the rest of you ?
But L 4 + 5 for me if we see this kid this year wow !

Well that is somewhat encouraging.
It is not career threatening and there is a chance he comes back by the end of the year. Let’s hope that is the case. Get to healing Clay!
