Dustin Pedroia for MVP! Or Not. Really, Depends On The Data
Is Dustin Pedroia a viable MVP candidate, or is he just in the midst of an awesome season? Depending on where you get your stats, the answer could go either way.

Good article
I enjoyed the article Marc. As someone that is new to understanding the intricate stats and trying to learn as much as he can, it’s interesting to see the “same” stat come out so differently. That being said, no matter what, I think Pedey should be in the conversation. I would love to see him win his second MVP and being a biased Sox fan; I think he should. But if he has to lose it to anyone, Bautista certainly deserves it. Wouldn’t it be funny to have Pedey, Gonzo, and Ells finish in the top 5 MVP voting?

It's certainly looking like it could end up that way
The Sox may not have the league’s MVP, but I’ll take having three of the runner ups any day.

I reject any system which suggests that Jose Bautista's defense provides superior value to Pedroia's
That’s some abiogenesis, crainiometry and balance-of-humors shit right there.
