Yamaico Navarro Recalled
Mike Cameron's roster spot isn't vacant for very long, with the Red Sox calling up Yamaico Navarro for the second time in his career. Navarro hit just .143/.173/.143 with 17 strikeouts in 46 plate appearances last year for Boston, but the utility player has hit .258/.362/.469 for Pawtucket this year.

His range and arm are not great for short. He fits the utility bill better, since the Red Sox have no need of a second baseman at present.

SS isn't optimal for him,
But Scutaro is OK and we don’t have anybody in the upper levels beside Iglesias.

He hits in best at positions they already have covered. Which is why he should be a good super-sub.
