Pedro Martinez: On His Way to Retirement?
Sure seems that way if you read between the lines. Heck, one doesn't even need to do that to realize he's happy where he is.
Maybe he'll come back as a coach one day? That would be pretty awesome to seem him as a pitching coach.

Pedro was a freak. I say surefire hall of famer.
The guy was small, but made you think he was as big as Randy Johnson.
The guy pitched out so damn well.
The Red Sox suck, and I am the dirt that was sucked in, I am a dirty.
Can we Nomar this up?
Bring him back for a day, let him retire right? Or does that only work for spring training?
IF he is truly done
the sooner he retires, the sooner I can plan my “Pedro Martinez Hall of Fame Induction” party. That will a be a great day for the Fenway faithful. A true warrior on the mound and guess what mom? No Steroids!!!
