Hello Red Sox nation. I am a new commenter here at sbnation and I look forward to talking with you about one of my favorite teams the Red Sox. They're off to a tough start at 0-6 but they've got 156 games to go so we'll see what happens good or bad. First off the pitching has concerned me most going back to last year. The Red Sox have some big name pitchers in Jon Lester, Josh Beckett, John Lackey, Clay Buccholz and Daiske Matsusaka as well as Jonathon Paplebon and others in the bullpen. There are some very good pitchers who have had success in the past but the Red Sox need success in 2011 and that will be the key as well as the bats getting going. Carl Crawford should come around as well as Adrian Gonzalez who's doing well. A few years ago I didn't give up on David Ortiz as some did and he eventually came around and did pretty well. So hang in there Sox fans and 0-6 is not necessarily 6-20. So Go Red Sox and good luck against the Yankees. Take care and talk soon. best wishes. steelspuredsoxleafs
