My parents live in New Jersey and they are both Red Sox fans. They want to watch Red Sox games in New Jersey. They used to buy the Extra Innings package through Comcast, but considering how expensive it is and how little they watch other games aside from the Red Sox ones, renewing the package is not in their best interest.
So I was wondering, what would be the most cost effective solution for them? Should he buy an MLB.tv account so he can watch games on his laptop (and connect the laptop to the TV so he can watch it on the big screen)? Should he buy JUST the MLB channel? Does MLB.tv carry all games or just select ones like MLB channel? What would you do?
So far, I told my father to look into getting an MLB.tv account so he can watch the games on his laptop and connect that to his TV via HDMI or on his iPhone. I'm just worried MLB.tv won't have him covered for all Red Sox games.
Thanks in advance for all of the helpful advice.
