Should the Cardinals DFA Pujols?

To even ask the question is idiotic. But as a reminder that other people besides Crawford and Youklis are stuggling, here are Pujols numbers:

Batting Average: .200

Slugging: .267

OPS: .567

Grounded in Double Plays: 7

Can you imagine the uproar here if Gonzalez or Crawford had hit into SEVEN Double Plays in ELEVEN games?

CALM DOWN PEOPLE!!! The Red Sox offense is still going to be awesome. I have concerns about pitching (though Jenks has looked like a suitable closer thus far if Papelbon melts down) but the Red Sox are still increadibly talented. In fact, given Beckett's last start, the first 3 starters look better now than they did at the start.

No question, they have dug themselves a bit of a hole, but they will be there in September.
