There's two quick bits of good news going around on Twitter right now.
The first revolves around Adrian Gonzalez, who has once again come in ahead of schedule and, per Rob Bradford, will be taking batting practice for the first time this Friday. That means his spring debut likely isn't very far away.
Bradford also tells us that Josh Beckett has passed the now-infamous (thanks to the NFL) concussion test. Still, the team has chosen to delay Beckett's start, giving Stolmy Pimentel the nod against the Phillies on Thursday.
Count that as one dodged health scare so far in spring. Hopefully there won't be many more until at least 2012. We've got some sort of karmic balance saved up after 2010, right?
