Michael Young requests trade... to the Angels?
According to reports, there are only a few suitors (and only 8 teams that aren't on Young's "no trade" list)... hard to imagine the Rangers dealing him within the division, but yes... the Angels are on the list.
This was bounced around on HH after the Vernon Wells trade, since the two are apparently good friends, with Angels fans worried that Reagins next move would be to pick up the three years/$48 million remaining on the DH/Util player that Young has become with the Rangers.
Oh... is it possible? Could the Angels make another deal to offset missing out on Adrian Beltre, and much like the Crawford deal, pick up an older and very expensive player instead?
C'mon, Tony! Work the phones!!
(Am I getting greedy wanting our offseason to keep getting better and better?)

New market inefficiency: trading with the Angels.
Hurry up and get it before everyone knows.
Only if we can get Mike Trout, too...

I dont think this will happen, but...
Michael Young would be a MLB caliber third baseman which is something the Angels cannot seem to acquire.
No way the Rangers trade Young to LAA and have to deal with him 19 times a year.
Yeah, I agree...
However, the fans in HH were screaming about the potential for this move right after the Wells trade. To hear it actually in the news makes me wonder how much they are squirming now…
Tony Reagins:
Al Davis, if he were young, black and still alive.
