Letter to Red Sox..From a Red Sox Fan

This is what I would like to write to the Red Sox ownership from me so give me your thoughts on it and maybe what you would write.

Dear Boston Red Sox Ownership,

At the beginning of this season, I was excited as anyone has ever been for a baseball season. With the big pickups such as Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez, I was pumped. Even after the struggle at the beginning, I worked on keeping my faith with your team as well as many other New Englanders did during that period. That is when you took off and were making a run as a top team in the MLB.

I know others who were really starting to get into the team by either watching it on TV or going to games. We even would defend your calls against such New York fans when certain players were struggling (...really struggling). That is why I write this letter to the ownership. As much as we filled up your ballpark and watched on TV, you still could not lead your team in the right direction.

As fans, the media attacks with information such as the "beer and fried chicken and video game" theory. But sometimes, enough is enough. Your the owner for a reason and the CEO for a reason and the President for a reason. We trust you in making the crucial moves needed to become a championship contender. St. Louis and Texas didn't have a problem like that this year, and they are now in the World Series. The leadership was not there from either the executives nor the players.

As the seasons grow, and generations grow, children and teens will look for a favorite team. Boston sports has a reputation like no other area has in this country for pro sports teams. That is why winning is important.

So, as of right now, my interest is at a career low for the Boston Red Sox at the moment and I will now focus myself towards the winning teams of this year, such as the Bruins and Patriots.

Thank You.
