"We are not normal, We are Legends. People will tell their kids about us." - Deon Butler before Ohio State Game 2008.
Iglesias is interesting.
He’s hitting for a pretty high average, but takes very few walks and has almost no power. Is that enough to survive in the majors with his defense? Is there some power there that might develop? Can the development staff teach him to take a walk?
Here's an interesting article by the always good Brian MacPherson
The more time he spent on the sidelines, the more time he spent watching tape — both of the Sea Dogs and of major-league hitters — to try to learn more about pitch selection.
"I love watching major-league baseball and watching all the good hitters and watching how they’re selective at the plate and seeing how they take pitches, being more selective on the pitch they want to swing at," he said through a team interpreter. "That’s helped me a little bit. But the in-game situations and playing every day has helped the most, obviously."
Iglesias hones his focus at the plate in Portland

I wouldn't worry about plate approach just yet.
IIRC, he’s only 20 and in AA. That’s pretty damn good. Plus, his season has kinda been ruined by injury. I remember early scouting reports saying that there’s supposed to be some pop in that bat.

I'm not really worrying about it.
It’s just that I think he has to answer those questions before we can really anoint him “shortstop of the future”. He has plenty of time to work out those kinks, but that doesn’t mean that he’s guaranteed to do so.

With a 95 mph heat from the left side? Like Frederick0220 would say:

This Salem pitching staff next year is going to be something!

Ha
When I saw this comment I actually went back and checked, ‘cause I thought maybe I’d made a typo.
