I could never complain about someone's plate discipline when they're hitting as well as Reddick

Because if you’re getting that many nice pitches to hit, you damn well better not walk instead! We’ll see how it goes when the bat cools down a bit…

Seth now Jarrod

We’ve got some long ass names in our system now.

Reddick today

2-5 HR
There’s no rush, let’s get him ready for 2012.

If Reddick and Kalish pan out I'm going to be ecstatic for our outfield in a couple of years.

I just wish so bad Westmoreland was back. Imagine the upside of that trio in 2012/2013, 3 elite hitters, all above-average defensively (from what I hear, Reddick/Kalish are both above-average corners, fringe-average-average centers, and Westmoreland certainly has elite CF upside), all cost-controlled and young. Even without Westmoreland, if Reddick and Kalish work out it’s going to be fun to watch this team. With a possible core of Youk/Pedroia/Kalish/Reddick/Lester/Buchholz, all young and cheap.

Youk

Won’t be young at that point. A few will likely have moved out of cheap range at that point. But they will all be players we’ve known and liked for a while.

Where's tha love for Alex Hassan...

2/3, 2B, BB

Most underrated prospect in the system by far.

Sure he has flaws but hard to ignore the fact that his OBP is creeping up on .400.

Did you see the SoxStats tweet too?

I gotta say, I was surprised. But the reason why no love is just because as a 20th rounder from 2009 signed for 90k, you’ve gotta break out first to get noitced, and he had a crap April, so I didn’t.

Worth paying attention too, though, even if he is a 22-year-old in A+ who’s a Yankees fan.
