Dammit Salty was looking good
Even was throwing some guys out, which Vmart does every 30th steal.

yeah - and that isn't even a very important thing.
The more important thing is that Salty was at least not a complete embarrasment at the plate like Brown, Cash & Molina have been.
I hope Mike Lowell is finally healthy enough to play 1B every damn day now, because we need V-Mart behind the plate. We cannot afford to be putting an automatic out in the lineup anymore.

Now Lowrie is in for Pedey
Who has foot pain.
So glad our guys have been coming back fully healed, glad our trainers are taking care of them.
Forgive me for a 75bandwagon moment, this isn’t me saying that the injuries are because of our training staff, I’m saying future ones may be. We’ve got broken bones all over the place, we’ve got to let them heal, we don’t want this to linger for players over the next year or be permanently weakened because we rushed the healing process. Look at Ellsbury, he came back, broke them again, came back, yep another break. It’s clear that they need a little more healing time, I don’t care if the player wants to be back, for the good of the team’s future maybe it’s best if some of these guys weren’t allowed to come back so soon. We’re just holding onto a prayer this season, why risk the next? If Pedrioa is feeling pain in his foot, put him right back on the DL and let him rest so that foot is fully healed so he can come back with full confidence next season. Same with Ellsbury, that should have been done the second time he broke his ribs.
It’s just frustrating seeing players come back from the disabled list only to be rested for health concerns immediately afterwards or even placed right back on it like Ellsbury.

oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no ohno……………….
I am nervous now. oh no oh no oh no
crap. This sucks. Like this season…. Nothing good is happening at all.
All the players I like get hurt or are placed on stupid lists or are sent to AAA for no reason…
At least Kalish is still healthy and Nava is in the big leagues right now….

I dont think this was particularly unexpected with Petey
Both him and the team said they would take it day by day and werent sure what the deal would be with his foot.

I mean, I know it wasn’t going to be an every day think for Pedey but if he’s still feeling pain in the foot should he even be playing at all at the risk of injuring it again and causing a bigger problem?

the MRIs they've been taking have said that the bone is healed
the pain is going to be minor leftover tissue damage or just atrohpy. Tough (but not dangerous) to go to full speed that quickly coming off a broken foot.. It would be worrisome if the bone was still damaged.
At what point...
can we all just start laughing? This has to be some kind of joke right? Some artsy Indie movie that’s being ironic on purpose. It’s so outrageous no one believes the storyline, but it’s true.
positive thoughts...
Well, at least…. um…. um…
Yeah!
