The day after his 0-4, 3 K performance...
Henry Ramos doubles off Josh Beckett in his simulated game. Not sure how to feel about that.

for the record, the rehab rule is
the players can be in the minors for up to 20 days, so three weeks is the absolute maximum he can rehab. They could, of course, option him down, but unless he’s really not well, it looks hard to me to justify having both Hall and Patterson on the roster if Lowrie is available.
I am happy to see Lowrie back.
I would not, however, hang around the cage during his BP, for fear of being struck by the errant meteor which will surely send him back to the DL. And by “meteor” I of course mean “Adrian Beltre.”
Wait 'til next/this year?

Beckett pitched a sim game and may be in Pawtucket this weekend.

Apparently Bowden is being moved into the Pawtucket bullpen.
Coming up to the big leagues soon?
Absolutely
Felix was remarking that he didn’t want to go to the pen because it’s a difficult transition to just make like that. Since he’s their spot starter, they’ll keep him stretched out and give Bowden a shot in relief.

How the hell did Jason Place fall all the way to the GCL?
Please tell me it’s at least a rehab assignment.
Go Lowrie
I hope he’s back in the bigs at the end of this rehab stretch. I’d rather see him at 2nd than Hall or Patterson. Hopefully he’ll return to being a doubles machine now that his wrist has healed.
But we better fit him for some kevlar foot protector or his join Pedey and ’Tek with a broken foot.
