Game 101: Red Sox (56-44) @ Angels (52-50)
Boston Red Sox at Los Angeles Angels, Jul 27, 2010 10:05 PM EDT
The Red Sox attempt to pick up their first series win of the second half as John Lackey makes his return to Los Angeles.
Opposing him is this year's new ace--Jered Weaver.
The lineup is a lot like last night's, but with a good adjustment. How Jeremy Hermida and his .632 OPS keep getting at bats on this team is beyond me. But at least he's doing it at the back of the lineup.
Go Sox!

Well, the .632 OPS is in limited AB's this year....
His career OPS is .758
Jacoby has a career OPS of .759
Cameron has a career OPS of .787
Who else do you want in the OF, with Jacoby still on the DL?

I think they are showcasing Hermida
I’m guessing he gets flipped by Saturday (I’m guessing to the Giants), even if just for a prospect. They took a flyer on him that he might blossom into the next Ortiz in a lineup where he got more pitches to look at. In limited time, he has proven nothing. Nice idea, time to punt.
I'd rather have McDonald or Nava
They’re both playing better right now.

Ben you want to know a bit about SC2?
Well I never played much of SC1 but I played the first 2 missions of 2 right now. It seem a lot of fun and fairly simple controls which is a must for me. I am not a fan of RTS’s normally so if I find it fun I don’t know what that means.
I love Lester and Pedroia!!! ITS MAN LOVE!
I just think SC got outdated fast.
Incredibly well balanced game when it first came out—still is—but it became impossible to really do much interesting unless you were a crazy ability micromanager.
I just wonder if SC2 is particularly different. Rise of Nations is the only RTS (excepting the Total War Series) to really change things up that I can remember.

Dirty Fuentes....
Hehe… ESPN Fantasy Podcast is actually funny and enjoyable.
I love Lester and Pedroia!!! ITS MAN LOVE!
The term “Dirty Fuentes” was created by ESPN fantasy expert and former Married with Children writer Mathew Berry. While thinking of past Dirty Sanchez’s with co-star Nate Ravitz, he coined the phrase to describe an awful performance by a closer who still received a win or a save. Brad Lidge gave up two home-runs but still received a save for last nightās game, giving him the Dirty-Fuentes.
I love Lester and Pedroia!!! ITS MAN LOVE!

Every time Scoots has a good night it seems to me to be under the radar

He leads off and scores runs, he doesn't drive them in.

It just seems like
I’ll be rethinking a game and Scoots K’s always stand out, and then I look at a box score and he was 2 for 4 with a 2b. I think its a personal problem (and as an ex lead off hitter, I do appreciate the table setter)

Not to say Scoot has been that great
But it’s the Drew syndrome. Scutaro is selective, and watches fat pitches that have you freaking out.

Jed! Ok and Lackey too.
I hope after tonight at the plate and in the field we have seen the last of Bill Hall! Hey Theo- Hall = trade bait. LOL. I hope Lacks is finally becoming the pitcher we are paying for. Great win for the Sox.

I don't mean to troll
but that was the first time I’ve ever seen that John Lackey video. That was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on SBN. I’ve watched it like
