A Yahoo Fantasy Tide-Me-Over Fanpost!
Hello, one and all.
If figured I'd pop up a quick Fanpost in case anyone wants to chat a bit about what's goin' on in Fantasy Land. I, myself, have been on vacation for the number of days and so I'm completely out of the loop in my fantasy team. I tried to set up my starters as best I could, but I know I dropped some points that likely cost me last week and dropped some points that got me off to a sluggish start this week.
This can tide us over for the rest of the weekend, and then I'll see about popping up a fresh one on Monday.
Also, on a side note, if any of you are campers or "scenic tourers", then you need to plan a vacation to the Cape Breton Highlands. There are not the words to describe the splendor. I was awestruck the whole time, and I'm a Nova Scotian. There's also some great golf, apparently, if that's your bag.

I'm going to start off the comments
by changing the subject to whine about my CBS team. My pitching, which is large part, combined with my awesome skillz, has utterly and completely collapsed. First Carlos Silva, who has been great most of the year somehow, and was supposed to have two starts, posted possibly the worst start ever and then had his second start taken away. Then Pineiro (who I mistakenly just picked up on a whim) did something similar, posting negative numbers and then losing his second start. Even Timmy Lincecum posted a negative start! I’ve only had mediocre starts from Bumgarner and Zito. and THEN of course, the three pitchers I had sitting were Lackey, who did phenomenally, Garcia, who pitched great, and Sheets, who did OK and still has another start to go.
And then to top it off, Bobby Jenks, who’s been mostly great since I picked him up, completely crapped the bed and lost his closer job.
What a sad state of affairs. I’m going less risky next week.
But back to the topic at hand, Cape Breton is nice.
Silva and Lincecum bombing your team?
My ESPN team can sympathize. Though it has the Toronto duo of Marcum and Romero messing up too.
Still tied for first. Ridiculous offense combined with there being waiver wire pitchers like Liriano and Huges for the win!

I trail Chowdah by 30 points or so this week.
But we’ve both got 6 starters going the rest of the week, and I trust in my offense.

eh, you're 13-2 for a reason
Like g-strings? Like f-holes? If so, orchestra may be right for you!
Allergy warning: fantasy baseball team may contain Peanut Butter.
Chowdah Chatter - an outlet for my random thoughts and such.
And yet, as of this minute, you've closed the gap to about 10.
My guys need to pick it up.

yeah, I was expecting worse
probably because I was under the impression you had 3 pitchers starting today, but if I’d bothered to look, I’d have known it was only Braden.

Only one point separating me and The Big Red Dog on the final day
If I lose this one because I wasn’t able to set my starters mid-week, ahmo be pissed.
