Impressive Sox debut for Rich Hill. Just before we signed him I was going to suggest looking at the risk/reward type of pitcher. I figure we swung and missed on Smoltz and Blanton, maybe the third time is a charm?

And by that I mean a starter/former starter being put in the bullpen. By no means do I want to take a risk on someone we want to go 6 or 7 innings like that again.

yeah I think that was a great pickup

absolutely no risk, and he has potential to be decent. Control may not be worse than Richardson at the moment, really.
