Rizzo is getting it together after so much sucking.

Here's a recent Rizzo scouting report from J51 at Soxprospects:
This is Rizzo second full year in the Sox system. Thanks, J51.
Rizzo: As Tyler Robertson who was sitting behind me said “This kid can sure bomb ’em.” He’s the best position prospect on the Sea Dogs to me. The stats might not be there right now, but I have no doubts that he will adjust and be a monster. The homerun he hit was majestic, soaring over everything. The best part was that it was on a changeup and he stayed back beautifully. The only doubt was if it would stay fair and it did. His next AB he took a 91 FB low, took a 91 FB for a strike, took an 85 SL in the dirt, then he got jammed a bit on a fastball and fouled it off, and then he got another 91 FB and drilled it into the left-center field gap for a double. A nice line shot that Revere got close to but didnt really have a chance. He did roll over two balls to the right side in the game as his timing was a bit off, but when he is on he is a true threat. Another thing i noticed is that he tends to get jammed alot. It was very prominent last night against the lefty. Thats something else to watch. He made an error on a throw where he tried to get the forceout at 2nd but tried to throw over the runner and he did but he also threw over the SS into LF. Other than that he made some nice plays using the back hand, long stretches at first, and one where he was layed out with his foot still on the bag to get the out. I love watching him play and if he can continue to make adjustments to offspeed pitches he will be great.
sucky night in Pawtucket

I'm both sick and tired today.
And not of Red Sox losses.
Was yesterday too. Not particularly productive, and I had to cover SBN Boston already, so I really only got Minor Lines out.
Usually it’s just a matter of if I do it right away, or if I have to distance myself for an hour or two, which usually just leads to an AM posting time.
