Fernando Cabrera to be DFA'd

In a move that surprises probably nobody except his own mother, Fernando Cabrera was seen packing and is expected to be designated for assignment following last night's game.  With Manny Delcarmen expected to come off the disabled list today, this was probably in the plans all along, although he certainly didn't help his case last night by allowing Bengie Molina's 5th career grand slam.

I don't know why we DFAd him.

He fits in perfectly

This is clever...We DFA F. Cabrera...

Then bring back F. Cabrera in a Manny Delcarmen jersey.

No point in keeping him

So I’m ok with this. 60-day DL, 60-day DL, 60-day DL.

I want Manuel back.

I wanted to see what he could do over a larger sample size.

I think he'll be back close to that 10-day limit after his last good performance

just they needed someone rested. Or though they did anyways, I can’t imagine an exhausted Manuel would have done any worse than Cabrera did
