Short-season debuts are not exactly a reliable way of evaluating players. Especially high schoolers.

He's only been in our system for less than a year
And this is really his first time playing professional baseball everyday, against top pitching, using wood bats. He’s been described as Middlebrooks raw, so let’s wait and see.

Salem I wouldn’t be surprised with, given his start and the IF jam in Lowell between Renfroe, Head, and Vitek.
