Where are they now? A look at some former Red Sox you may have forgotten
The other day a few names popped up in my head, and I was like, "wow! I totally forgot about that guy!" So I did some research on some former Red Sox;
Jeff Bailey: A blast from the not-too-distant past. Bailey was a AAAA player for the Red Sox for two years, up and down from Pawtucket and Boston. I always liked Bailey, but never thought Boston was th right fit for him.
Where is he now? Reno Aces, (Diamondbacks) In 309 AB's, Bailey is batting .301 with 8 HR and 50 RBI, while sporting a .391 OBP.
Chris Carter: Carter was simaler to Bailey as he was also a guy called up and down. carter even debuted at 1B in the Coco Crisp game (you know what i'm talking about) The Red Sox traded him last season to the Mets for Billy Wagner
Where is he now? Carter has played 29 games for the Buffalo Bisons, hitting .336 in 113 AB;s, with 6 HR and 22 RBI. In the bigs with the Mets, he is hitting .256 in 70 AB's with two home runs.
Takashi Saito: Saito filled in good in the Red Sox bullpen last season, and I was disapointed to see the Red Sox let him go with all their bullpen troubles.
Where is he now? Saito is pitching for the Atlanta Braves this season, with an ERA of 3.41 in 35 games. He has 12 holds and a WHIP of 1.21.
Brian Anderson: The Red Sox traded Mark Kotsay to the Chicago White Sox for this guy.
Where is he now? Anderson has converted himself into a pitcher in the Kansas city Royals system. He's pitched four innings in the AZL and not allowed a run.
