Second Round Pick
Who is on your radar for the #57 pick?
I'm hoping they go with one of three pitchers:
Paxton (LHP) - Selected by Toronto in the supplemental round last year, he spurned their $1M offer, went to Kentucky before dropping out (amid an NCAA investigation) and pitching in indy ball. He fills a nice organizational need as a polished lefty.
Cole (RHP) - Initially considered a top 10 pick, his stock dropped with a shaky spring. I think he still has plenty of upside.
Bettis (RHP) - I think the most likely pick of the three. Low mileage reliever from Texas Tech. Seems to fit the profile for the Sox, especially after making a big splash with Ranaudo.

Wouldn't mind Workman if he is still there.

I predicted Cole or Ryne Stanek in the other thread
Could also see Sean Coyle soon, we were supposed to be high on him, along with the Yankees.

And here comes KLaw...
Heard the Red Sox are taking Philly-area SS Sean Coyle today and have roughly agreed on parameters of a deal.
